It’s because the Creative Zen Vision 3 is a 3-in-1 device which means it has a Blu-ray player, HD DVD player and Digital Video Recorder in a single device.
Despite all the features, the device doesn’t look too much different from the original Zen Vision. There are two 5-inch LCDs on top, with sliding mechanism which can be tilted and rotated to suit different uses. These were moved to the front to improve portability and functionality when not in use.
There is a 1.5-inch touchscreen in the middle which can show content on different resolutions. This can be used with the Zoom view feature which is activated when you view content from a close distance. This is similar to the Apple’s FaceTime or Skype calls. The opposite effect is also available so that it can be used as a remote control.
The 3-in-1 device comes with two USB ports. One is used to download photos, music and video content to the device. The other is used to connect to the computer or laptop and is used for music, photos and video viewing. It also supports microSD card slots for storage purposes.
On the top of the device is a headphone jack, Microphone and a mini-HDMI port for connecting to a TV, monitor or a projector. This device also has a DC power jack, 3.5 mm and RCA video and audio connections and a USB cable for charging and connecting to a PC or a laptop.
