Aluminum Frame System

Add our new centered aluminum stay option to increase load carrying comfort up to 25-30 lbs. What you’ll get: Single removable 3/4″ aluminum internal stay bar that is centered along the back, an interior sleeve that is perfect to add your own padding (a folded up 1/8″ foam pad is my choice), and an interior zippered pocket that serves dual function to hold everything in place. When selecting this choice, your hipbelt will be a fully removable full wrap hipbelt. With the positioning of the frame and the attachment style of the hipbelt, you get a lot more stability while carrying the weight of the pack without sacrificing freedom of movement in the hips. This is truly the most comfortable and versatile frame system I’ve used and tested for weights under 30 lbs. The frame system adds a total of 3-5 oz to your pack’s weight, depending on your fabric choice.
