Hi Matt, You've done it again. This is my 5th fanny pack with you. I've walked the PCT with some and I still have 2 remaining. They are almost instructible. I only replace when they start to get tired looking from daily wear. I love the soft pocket on top which I use as a water bottle (600ml) holder and/or sunglasses case. The internal space is simply organized, and it has sufficient space for my T1 diabetes insulin pen, small first aid kit, hypo snacks, pen knife, small credit card size wallet, pen, hanky and head torch. An indispensable piece of kit I get many compliments on. There are so many fanny packs on the market but I keep returning to this one for its features, compact size, durability and comfort.

I love my new Flex Pack. I really enjoy being able to carry a water bottle without needing a backpack. It's much more comfortable and carries the weight of the water well. There's plenty of room for my cell phone and snacks. I'm also really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. It's a rugged piece of gear I expect will hold up well.

Works great- I think it says something when you just notice the water bottle you carry as opposed to the weight of the pack atop (which was something I had with my previous, admittedly cheap solution).

The Flex Fanny Pack has been used and abused across New Zealand and Australia for hundreds of kms of backpacking trips ultramarathons, backpacking trips, as well as ecological fieldwork smashing through salt marshes day-in and day-out. It's tough and still holding up well, keeping my essentials handy and dry!

I was looking for a lightweight alternative to carrying a day pack with me for side hikes when backpacking. I just need to carry a few essentials and some water and I had a hard time finding one that could hold a water bottle. This fit the bill, worked well, and saved me weight and room in my pack.

I have not had a chance to hit the trails with this, but I have zero evidence that it will not perform exceptionally well. The attention to detail is as phenomenal as the customer service Matt provides.

Fantastic product. High quality materials and so practical to use. The stretchy sleeve on top is what I was looking for, it is the perfect place to put a small water bottle so I don’t have to reach around for my Nalgene bottle in my pack.

I was a little hesitant about buying this, but something about it kept drawing me back to it because of all the little things Matt has managed to personally create to cater to the user. I finally purchased it and it came just in time for my Japan trip and I have to say I used it every single day. It was big enough to keep all the things I needed with me - wallet, money, passport, pocket wifi, and a few other little things. I absolutely loved having the water bottle holder on top - easily accessible. Brilliant! Ever since I came back, I have also used it to carry dog water bowls and water for when I go on walks with dogs. It's super handy, small, convenient and I love it. It makes me happy when I look at it and use it, what more could you ask for from a product. Love it Matt, thank you! When the time comes, I will definitely be ordering another one.

Bought this pack. Something different from the market. The way the stitches were done, Matt dedicated time to make sure that the item will be durable in the long run. The orange colors I think adds for higher visibility if you're outdoor for safety. Thank you very much.

Matt went back and forth until we got exactly - and I mean exactly what I wanted. I've been on the hunt for the perfect mission pack for years, AND THIS IS IT!!! I will definitely buy more packs in the future, but it won't be to replace this one, because it's so sturdy.

I ordered a black and orange front range 40l with most of the add ons. The pack is really well thought out. the Y strap an on for example is easily switchable between using it as a Y or just a straight band over the top. Build quality all around is really fantastic. Matt was quick to respond to anything questions I had as well. Although its certainly not everything I really love the look as well, a very stylish pack. At first I wasen't going to for a fanny pack but I came around on the idea. Hoping to see if I can use Molle clips to clip the front pocket on as a removable organizer I can hike with through the day and bring into the tent at night. I'm getting off topic here now though. Overall I'm really happy with the end product and service. Thanks Matt!

I ordered a custom Front Range 40 in Ultra with dual adjust hip belt, joey pouch inside the rear mesh pocket, and y-strap. I've put almost 150 miles on the bag so far and it has exceeded all expectations. Matt's build quality is exceptional with both sewn and taped seams that showcase his skill as a craftsman and attention to detail in the finish. The Ultra fabric is light and extremely durable with practically no sign of wear after plenty of sliding and squeezing through the deserts. The (frameless) pack rides comfortably even with full food/water carries. Water bottle pockets on the shoulder straps has been one of my favorite upgrades! Matt is responsive and communicative throughout the process. I appreciated his willingness to talk through some of the customizations I was considering to suit my needs, being equal parts accommodating and challenging my ideas with his own thoughts and expertise. As someone who has owned packs from other cottage makers, I will tell you that the price/quality/lead-time of Red Paw Packs puts them at the top of the heap. I purchased a Flat Iron in Ultra 200 with vest style straps and a few other small modifications, and couldn't be more stoked about it. I've gotten the chance to load the pack up with kit, food, and food for a 2 night trip (16-18lbs) a few times now, then taken it out on some moderate day hikes. The vest style shoulder straps and amazingly comfortable and offer an astounding amount of pocket space, they really changed the way I approach loading my pack and increase efficiency for me. The front/side spandura pockets provide plenty of room to stuff wet gear and any other items you may need during the day. The bottom pocket and unique entry location work out way better than I expected, maybe a little small for a full day of food but there's plenty of other external storage options to round it out. The build quality on this pack is next level, it's easy to see the attention to detail that Matt gives the pack as it's made. Seams are dead straight, no loose threads, seam tape is meticulous. It seems like each time I pick up the pack I notice another small detail, like the orange snaps to match my orange spandura, or a nicely angled seam that adds a little excitement to the pack. Those little things always manage to make me grin. I've been described as being particular about my gear, to put it politely, and this pack exceeds expectation. After a few conversation with Matt it's easy to see he has true passion for designing and building packs, as well as sharing that passion with everyone around him. I won't hesitate to purchase another Red Paw Pack, the quality coupled with customer service makes that an easy decision.

Definitely the best backpack our dog has used for a few reasons: (1) Incredibly lightweight, (2) very adjustable, (3) and well thought out features. The buttons in the pockets keep the content from moving around too much and tighter to the body, and the stretch pocket for the leash comes in very handy for frequent stops without having to remove it. The craftsmanship of the whole backpack is top notch. Highly recommend if you're on the fence!

After using all sorts of dog blankets I think we've found the one. The ultralight dog quilt is the perfect size and weight and our dog enjoys wearing it knowing that it's her quilt and it's going to keep her warm.
