These are by far the best Fanny packs available. The meshing on top is great for holding that water bottle or even easy access for the trash/snacks. The buying experience is always smooth, thanks for what you do!
The Flex Fanny Pack is simply awesome. Perfect size. Super processed and no errors. I love this bag, and from now on, he will be part of every hike. Ordering was also super easy. All my questions were answered directly and nicely.
I love my new Flex Pack. I really enjoy being able to carry a water bottle without needing a backpack. It's much more comfortable and carries the weight of the water well. There's plenty of room for my cell phone and snacks. I'm also really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship.

Weighing in at just 4.1 oz, this quilt makes the perfect addition to your pup's kit for those chilly nights backpacking. Made from a shell of 0.9 oz MEMBRANE 15 ECO Ripstop Nylon and 2.5 oz Climashield Apex synthetic insulation, this quilt will keep your dog warm even while wet. And if your dog is like Red Paw, they will get wet.
The dog quilt can be attached to the dog with the included two String Z Buckle and shock cord assemblies: one around the neck and the other around the belly. This allows you to keep the quilt on your dog while they walk around camp. There are extra webbing loops all over the quilt so you can customize your use to your own needs.

When your quilt gets that funky wet dog smell (and it will): Hand wash in lukewarm water with a tech wash or performance wash detergent. Drain the water from the quilt. Hang to dry.

It's light, easy to adjust and it kept my pup nice and warm throughout a night at 32 degrees (0 Celsius) without falling off. I am really satisfied with the purchase.

Ultralight backpacker, self-taught sewist, and founder of Red Paw Packs — a cottage gear brand built one pack at a time in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
The Origin Story
In the mountains of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia, my story began.
I packed too light.
Shivering in my hammock, with totally inadequate gear, I had a realization: my backpacking kit should be comfortable at camp AND ultralight. That night, everything changed. I needed to make my own gear -- something that actually met my needs.
A few days later, I returned home and searched "MYOG." That day I discovered the latest and greatest materials: high-durability, ultralight sailcloths — Dyneema Composite Fabric, Ultra, X-Pac, and the ultralight ripstop fabrics that would eventually define every pack I make.
I was fascinated. Initially by the impressive specs of the different textiles, but then by their potential. Like any Redditor, I started using LighterPack to determine my base weight. I started calculating just how light I could and should go.
Yet... I was in college and broke. So I purchased a simple home sewing machine, which was promptly destroyed while sewing my first backpack. I realized that ultra-durability was not just a marketing slogan.

The Craft
Many years later, thousands of packs.
I moved to Boulder, Colorado with a happy family of industrial sewing machines, hundreds of handmade ultralight backpacks and fanny packs emerging from their steely finesse.
My own skills have improved enough to make those first packs nearly unrecognizable to me — even though I still have all of them. I've cherished every little frustration and triumph on my journey to mastering the world of sewing, textiles, and ultralight bag design.
Almost as much as I appreciate you.
I know that I have the greatest customers in the world. I befriend so many of them, granting me the best privilege of all: seeing my handiwork survive and thrive thousands of miles in the backcountry.

We stand behind every pack we make. Here's exactly what that means.
Warranty
We will stand behind the quality of all our products. If you experience any problems with your Red Paw gear, be it durability or otherwise, please reach out to me with a Instagram message, an email or phone call. If you need repairs on your gear, I'm happy to do so for the cost of shipping. Regardless of the situation, Red Paw Packs is dedicated to customer service and has every intention of making sure that you are satisfied with your gear.
Repairs
We will repair your gear to the best of our ability. For most cases, just pay shipping cost and I'll do the repair for free.
Returns & Refunds
Stock Items
We will accept returns of all stock items are in unused condition within 14 days of purchase. If you believe your product to be defective, please contact me with the details of the defect. For new, unused item returns, the customer must pay the return shipping.
Custom Items
Due to the nature of custom work, custom items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Order Cancellation
Order cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
